Home Made Fenugreek (methi)Chicken Curry Recipe

Hiii All
Yesterday I had made this recipe for dinner.
But use less oil and spices to get the full benefits of fenugreek leaves and chicken which are really a good combination for different, unique taste.

Fenugreek is good for heart, hair, insomnia, belly problem,to boost good cholesterol and immunity system and good to increase appetite. And chicken is wellknown a good source of protein, calcium, zinc etc.

So we should eat all the food because in every food health benefits are different different. So do not choosy too much.Eat all the food and enjoy.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients- 1: fenugreek (methi) leaves one stick 2: chicken 1/2 kg 3: two medium size onions ,garlic, ginger according to your taste, one big size tomato 4: garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds ,chilli powder 5: vegetable oil or olive oil 6: curd

Step one- first cut onions, galic, ginger, tomatoes, clean methi leaves or fenugreek leaves and chicken and keep it aside. Then marinate the chicken with little coriander powder, chill  powder, garam masala powder, salt, turmeric powder and curd.

Step two- heat the pan and add little oil after heating oil add cumin seeds and fry onions, garlic lastly ginger and methi or fenugreek leaves and cook till 5-7 minutes to go the bitter taste of fenugreek leaves.

Step three- then mix it into a mixer and keep the paste aside.Again add oil and add the paste and and marinate chicken into it and mix well.Add tomato and give the lid and wait for 15 minutes in low flame to cook.

Inbetween that open the lid and mix and again give the lid and wait to cook the chicken for 40 minutes to cook.
Because here I used big pieces of chicken so it takes time to cook and generally I cook it around 1 hour to give a proper taste of it.Because in our benali culture it is said that any meat should be cooked in low flame minimum 1 hour and for mutton it takes double time to cook.

Because it's not the matter of boiling the matter is about taste.Anyways after cook add little garam masala and cutted green chillies and wait for standing time and serve it with rice or chapati and enjoy your happy weekend ☺.And please share and comment your feedback in comments section below.Keep in touch.😊
